Awning Sun Screen Project
I picked up a roll off Easy Gardener Sun Screen Fabric, 6' x 15' in Saddle Tan at Lowe's. Item 72015, also comes in 25' #72025. Sandi cut it to fit the awning including hems on all 4 sides. Top hem we inserted some plastic clothes line rope which allows it to slide into the awning channel. Added grommets, two at the top and four at the bottom. First trip out we just let it hang, did a great job and gave us a bit more privacy from our neighbors. Without it anchored the dogs could easily walk around with out getting tangled. I also picked up four 36" bungee cords should I want to secure it to the ground. Total cost was about $25 for all the parts.
We can roll the shade up with the awning, but generally while traveling we don’t.
