The Avalanche is a great truck, but the height of the tailgate makes it next to impossible to back the truck up without help or jumping in and out of the truck. The Hitch Finder is a very simple gizmo that extends up to a height so you can back up the truck and position the hitch ball right under the hitch head. When your don the two parts collapse down to under 4".
