Outside Stove Leveling Mod
I love the outside cookstove on our Outback, its nice to be able to cook outside without using our Coleman stove, and having two 30# propane tanks I'd rather use those than the small tanks any day.
The problem that I, and others, have run into is no matter how level your camper is, the cookstove may not be level. So you risk having oil and other things flow to the low point.
The solution: Two aluminum turnbuckles and ferrules. I opened the turnbuckles half way, cut the support wire half way between then installed the ferrules with the hook of the turnbuckle in place.
Now all I need to do is level the cookstove on its own, without reliance on the camper itself. I'll add a small bubble level soon to make this even easier.
Thanks to JimMcCombe on Outbackers for the idea and the instructions.
